Background

This project topic was working with hybrid occasions furniture. The objective was to design a physical scale model furniture piece that had more than one function.

Small apartments challenge one to utilize the space efficiently. Having one piece of furniture that serves multiple purposes not only saves space in the home but also money spent. The One-Stop Shelf was developed as a multi-functional piece of furniture that could be used as shelving, hold a laundry hamper, and be a drying rack all in one. This furniture piece can be used simultaneously for all three functions.
